Roles and Responsibilities: Responsible for preparation and delivery of process calculations, design drawings and other documents for water, wastewater treatment, and air treatment projects. Aware of the requirements for full compliance to local authorities. Conduct process calculations such as treatment unit sizing, pipe or ducting pressure losses for the above-mentioned projects. Design PFD, P&ID drawings for these projects. Select equipment or propose the parameters for the selection of equipment such as pumps and fans. Design the layout and section views of the overall treatment system including process treatment units, equipment, and piping and ducting with the help of drafters. Prepare other textual documents in process discipline such as control philosophy and datasheets. Evaluate technical documents from subcontractors and suppliers. Coordinate the works with mechanical engineers, and electrical, control and instrument engineers. Provide technical support to sales and project teams. Develop or provide design recommendations, value engineering, and training to clients or co-workers. Liaise with other departments (Project, QAQC or Commissioning) on schedule and deliverables timeline. Report to the engineering manager. Requirements: A recognized degree in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or other process-related engineering. 3 years or more of work experience in water, wastewater treatment, or air treatment. Master's degree holders with less experience will be considered. Proficiency in CAD, MS Office, or other design software. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Experience in ultrapure water treatment, air treatment scrubbers, and thermal oxidizers is preferred. Good writing and communication skills.
