Our Opening and Your Responsibilities We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events that align with our company’s goals and objectives. This role requires excellent communication skills, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand event goals, budget, and logistics.
- Develop comprehensive event plans that include timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Research and select venues; negotiate contracts and ensure all facilities meet event requirements. Manage existing process of rooms booking for training and meeting at the current facilities.
- Identify and liaise with vendors, including caterers, photographers, audio/visual teams, and decorators to secure services for the events.
- Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including transportation, accommodations, equipment rental, and catering.
- Assist in developing marketing materials for events, including invitations, programs, and potentially social media promotions to maximize attendance.
- Oversee all aspects of the event on the day, ensuring everything runs smoothly and addressing any issues that arise.
- Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to assess event success and identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an event coordinator or similar role.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
- Flexibility to work in evenings and weekends as and when required.
