Provide strong leadership, manage staff, develop business opportunities, and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards in a safe work environment. Role: You will be responsible for managing projects in the region of $5m plus, including sub-divisions, road construction, structures, and bulk earthworks projects across the region. This is a leading contractor in the civil infrastructure sector with a strong forward workload and projects all over NZ! There is a huge variety in this role, including the range of project involvement and plenty of scope to enhance your career. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide senior leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and reporting to reach financial targets.
- Oversee contract administration, compliance, and risks.
- Manage supplier and subcontractor relationships.
- Ensure a safe work environment for all.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
- You will be a dynamic and driven Project Manager who leads with passion and integrity to drive projects to successful delivery.
- Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of NZS 3910 and 3916, and an understanding of the Construction Contracts Act.
- Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Extensive experience across the spectrum of civil infrastructure projects, with a MINIMUM of 5 years of successful projects of 10m+ in NZ.
- Be commercially astute and manage project financials and cost control.
- Superb communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proven leadership and delivery experience.
