What you will be working on: As an Executive/ Senior Engineer / Assistant Director (Electrical) in the Coastal Protection Department, you will be part of a dynamic team to plan and design Electrical Installations for protecting Singapore’s coast against coastal flood risk due to rising sea level and more intense rainfall. Your job role will include, but is not limited to the following: Planning the power demand and review of engineering consultants’ design of Electrical Installations comprising 66 kV Extra High Voltage (EHV), 22 kV High Voltage (HV) and 400 V Low Voltage (LV) electrical equipment of coastal barrages, tidal gates, pumping stations, ship/boat locks, apart from compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Administrating site investigations, surveys, securing funds, preparation of tenders including tender gazette, evaluation and award for coastal infrastructure projects. What we are looking for: Degree in Electrical Engineering specializing in Power Engineering or equivalent. Candidate with relevant working experience in planning and engineering design of HV and LV electrical installations is preferred. Strong communication, analytical, writing and presentation skills.
