What the role is: Project Title: ARIS - AI Reinforced Investigation System Project Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and talented intern to join our team for a Data Science and AI project. This internship will provide you with valuable hands-on experience in developing an AI bot to improve operational capabilities in workplace safety and health. This project will see the development of an AI bot to retrieve information from internal databases, websites, and scanned documents, and generate interview questions and reports. What you will be working on: Collaborate with the team to understand the project requirements and objectives. Implement web scraping techniques to extract data from websites and PDF documents. Develop and integrate application bots for information retrieval and document analysis. Design and develop algorithms for generating interview questions and reports. Test and evaluate the performance of the AI bot and make necessary improvements. What we are looking for: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field. Good understanding of statistics and machine learning concepts, and able to think critically about Data Science and AI problems. Proficient with Python, especially the data science libraries, and UiPath (or other RPA equivalent tools). Familiarity with Large Language Models, natural language processing, prompt engineering, cloud computing, data engineering, and version control (Git) will be an advantage. Passionate about data science and eager to learn and experiment. Good time management and project management skills, including the ability to plan work and meet deadlines. Able to multi-task, work independently as an individual, and effectively as a team.
