Job Description

  • Coordinate with corporate external legal advisor(s) on all legal matters related to Company.
  • Acts as an authorized legal representative of the company before government agencies.
  • Represent the company before PAM (Public Authority of Manpower) labor disputes Department.
  • Liaise with internal corporate clients to ensure proper document compilation in preparation for litigation and/or arbitration proceedings.
  • Follow up and arrange corporate legal documents such as articles of Associations (AOA), Power of Attorney (POA), and other related documents.
  • Follow up and execute different corporate court transactions including verdict execution and legal notices.
  • Review and provide recommendations on different kinds of corporate agreements (JV, Agencies, Subcontracts, Employment, etc.).
  • Assist in performing court case preparation work such as interviewing witnesses and preparing briefs.
  • Prepare correspondence with external government and non-government external bodies regarding legal corporate transactions.
  • Perform other related duties requested by the Executive Manager

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Law or Equivalent.
  • Five Years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledgeable of Kuwait Labor Law.
  • Knowledgeable of the las and regulations, court procedures, practices and rules of evidence.
  • Some Knowledge of legal drafting principle and methods.
  • Excellent reporting skills (Written and verbal)
  • Professional and high level of communication and interpersonal Skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Able to interpret and analyze the law and legal issues.
  • Ability to present and explain statements of facts and the law clearly, both orally and in writing

Preferred Candidate

Degree Bachelor's degree / higher diploma
