Software Development Leader

As the Software Development Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a talented group of software developers, ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects that drive our company's technological innovation and growth. This is a full-time position based in our office in Kuala Lumpur, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of our software development initiatives. What you'll be doing

1. Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure effective communication and coordination across development teams.
2. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation , and continuous improvement within the team.
3. Guide planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring on-time and high-quality results.
4. Provide technical expertise and mentorship to the development team, addressing challenges and solving problems efficiently.
5. Implement best practices, coding standards, and agile methodologies to maintain high development quality.
6. Monitor project status and provide detailed reports on risks, milestones, and performance metrics.
7. Work closely with the quality assurance team to enforce quality control and implement effective testing strategies.
8. Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders , including executives and product owners, ensuring clarity on progress and timelines.
9. Engage with clients and users to refine and clarify requirements, ensuring alignment with business needs.
10. Partner with the Project Manager to manage the software development budget , ensuring efficient resource allocation.

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. 8+ years of experience in software development, with a strong track record of leadership and technical expertise.
3. Deep technical proficiency in programming languages, software architecture, and development methodologies.
4. Proven experience collaborating with project managers and cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
5. Demonstrated ability to deliver complex software projects on time and within budget.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
7. Strong commitment to continuous learning and staying ahead of industry trends and best practices.
