PROCESS / PRODUCTION ENGINEER (Manufacturing)

As a Process/Production Engineer, you will be responsible for managing recovery processes, collecting data for improvements, overseeing operations, troubleshooting plant/process issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and manage the recovery processes.
  • Collect data required to make improvements and modifications.
  • Oversee the operation floor and construction of new plants.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot plant/process problems.
  • Schedule and coordinate work to tight deadlines and within financial budgets.
  • Ensure that equipment works to its specification and to appropriate capacities.
  • Assess safety and environmental issues.
  • Liaise with installation/project engineers and specialists.
  • Purchase and commission equipment.
  • Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety legislation.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Industrial) or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): English & Bahasa Malaysia
  • At least 1-2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position. (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
  • Experience in field operation, process design, engineering, and knowledge of process engineering calculations.
  • Good computer skills with Microsoft programs.
