Job Title: CEO - Flytern

The Chief Executive Officer for Flytern is responsible for driving exceptional sales and service outcomes with strategic guidance from the Executive Chairman. The primary focus is on maximizing initial sales conversions, generating new leads when necessary, and implementing comprehensive sales action plans to foster business growth.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Develop strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth for Flytern's products and services.
  • Promote Flytern's product through support and assistance to the commercial team to achieve departmental sales goals.
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to develop and implement specific marketing plans for Flytern.
  • Achieve monthly and annual revenue targets, including outside sales calls, prospecting calls, site inspections, etc.
  • Develop creative programs to maximize reservations and client satisfaction for B2B and B2C accounts.
  • Pursue industry-related events, organizations, and local community engagement to develop business and create revenue for Flytern.
  • Foster regular communication with product marketing, customer engagement, and corporate communications teams to provide feedback on travel sales trends and propose effective action plans.
  • Leverage hospitality and travel industry expertise to solicit and secure business on behalf of Flytern.
  • Maintain competitive rates committed by Flytern and ensure maximum profitability through annual rate negotiations and acquisition of new accounts and group business.
  • Strengthen and maintain relationships with existing and future accounts through regular sales visits and follow-ups.
  • Communicate regularly with special corporate/preferred corporate accounts and send quarterly reports to clients.
  • Collaborate with the corporate communications department to develop marketing, public relations, and media projects for B2B, B2C, and other market segments.
  • Work closely with finance to prepare financial proposals for various business models.
  • Implement and execute sales objectives and action plans to reach or exceed set targets.
  • Organize sales campaigns, product presentations, and participate in key events related to the travel industry.
  • Secure smooth handovers of contracted engagements and oversee the transition of new customers to account management.
  • Negotiate travel trade contracts with operators or agents for group travel business.
  • Maintain files of major accounts and assist in maintaining the accounts management system.
  • Collaborate with the HR department to build the Flytern sales team and work with team members to develop programs and offerings to promote our business.
  • Provide sales training and support to team members, ensuring their product knowledge remains up-to-date.
  • Respond to client requests related to sales and ensure Flytern's sales and services meet client requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in travel and tourism, business management, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in management, hospitality, tourism, sales, operations, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience leading a team or managing employees.
  • Knowledge of travel and hospitality industries required.
