Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and innovative Genesys Cloud Developer to design, develop, and enhance contact center solutions using the Genesys Cloud platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, hands-on experience with Genesys Cloud APIs, and a passion for creating seamless customer experiences. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions tailored to business needs. Key Responsibilities Development & Customization: Design and implement solutions on the Genesys Cloud platform, including IVR workflows, call routing, and agent desktop customization. Develop integrations with external systems such as CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) and other enterprise platforms using Genesys Cloud APIs and SDKs. Customize and configure Genesys Cloud features to optimize contact center operations. API Integration: Build and maintain RESTful API integrations for data exchange between Genesys Cloud and third-party applications. Leverage Genesys Cloud APIs to automate processes and enhance functionality. Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve issues related to Genesys Cloud configurations, workflows, and integrations. Provide technical support to ensure smooth system operation and minimal downtime. Testing & Documentation: Develop and execute test plans for new features and integrations to ensure quality and reliability. Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, workflows, and user guides. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business analysts, architects, and project managers to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Engage with stakeholders to understand business challenges and recommend appropriate Genesys Cloud features. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on Genesys Cloud releases and enhancements to incorporate new features into solutions. Identify opportunities to improve system performance and user experience. Required Experience Proven experience as a Genesys Cloud Developer, with 6 years of hands-on development and customization experience. Strong knowledge of Genesys Cloud APIs, SDKs, and related technologies. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js. Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker). Understanding of contact center elements including IVR, ACD, and WFM. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Experience/Qualifications Genesys Cloud certification (e.g., Genesys Cloud Certified Professional). Experience with data analytics tools and reporting in Genesys Cloud. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
