Job Responsibilities: Accounting and Financial Management: Prepare management accounts for Business Development activities, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow management. Assist in the preparation and review of the annual budget. Perform actual vs budget analysis for business development activities. Manage loans from banks (project finance) and shareholders. Liaise with financial group companies, banks, and lenders. Assist in financial arrangements and documentation. Ensure timely payments for operational expenses, management fees, and loan repayments. Manage contractual requirements, including facility agreements, shareholder agreements, management agreements, etc., depending on the nature of the project. Verify invoices and collaborate with the accounting team to ensure timely payment. Communicate with stakeholders as necessary. Review work practices and procedures to improve operational efficiency. Project Support: Verify the accounting methods for each project in collaboration with the accounting team and auditor. Review taxation matters for each project with the accounting team and tax consultant. Assist in evaluating project profitability and conducting financial assessments. Support accounting and financial management for projects across Southeast Asia and Oceania. Additional Responsibilities: Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned. Requirements: Diploma in Accountancy, Business Management, or Finance. Minimum of 3 years in Accounting or Finance. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. A team player with a positive working attitude. Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills. Proficient in using MS Office applications. Experience in the shipping industry is an advantage.
