Assistant Manager, Factory (Kota Kinabalu - Food Manufacturing)
Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Full time- As a coordinator between manager and manufacturing staff.
- To maintain the constant weighing of GOOT in production floor.
- Responsible for the proper functioning of manufacturing section.
- Responsible for manufacturing targets are met.
- Responsible to oversee that all documented procedures and instruction are followed by departmental staff in accordance with ISO 9001.
- Responsible to improving the manufacturing efficiency by conducting time & motion studies for works analysis.
- To verify weekly equipment cleaning monitoring sheet & all the forms related to Manufacturing Department.
- To analyze weekly / monthly production report and submit report on findings, recommendations, remedial actions etc.
- Supervise and lead production teams, providing guidance and support to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among production staff.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement in food manufacturing processes.
- Implement best practices and lean manufacturing principles to optimize production workflows.
- To ensure workers follow closely all HACCP and GMP procedures.
- To ensure plans for equipment & facilities cleaning are executed.
- To ensure rules and good housekeeping are followed and maintained.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Food Manufacturing, certified by GMP/ ISO/HACCP/ etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proactive, analytical thinking able to deliver desired results.
- People-oriented and able to handle a large group of team members.
- Ability to analyze data and create and review processes.
