Director of Food & Beverage

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our client as the Director of Food and Beverage. As the leader of their food and beverage department, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of their dining and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service, quality, and profitability. Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and oversee food and beverage menu offerings in collaboration with the culinary team
2. Manage food and beverage budgets, including cost control measures and revenue generation strategies
3. Lead and mentor a team of food and beverage managers, supervisors, and staff members
4. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards
5. Monitor and analyze dining trends and customer feedback to continuously improve service and dining experiences
6. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to promote food and beverage offerings and drive revenue growth
7. Maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts for supplies and services
8. Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and innovations in the food and beverage sector

1. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field
2. Proven experience as a Director or Senior Manager of Food and Beverage or similar role in the hospitality industry, preferably in hotels.
3. Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
5. Solid understanding of food and beverage cost control and revenue generation strategies
6. Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in food and beverage operations
7. Strong organizational and time management skills
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
