Joinery Draftsman

* Develop detailed shop drawings for joinery works, including furniture, cabinetry, and other custom woodwork, using AutoCAD or similar software.* Translate design concepts into detailed technical drawings that guide the manufacturing and installation processes.* Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, client specifications, and project requirements.* Work closely with architects, designers, project managers, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of joinery elements into overall fit-out projects.* Participate in design meetings and site visits to gather information and verify measurements.* Project Management:* Assist in the preparation of project timelines and ensure that all drawings are completed and submitted on time.* Provide technical support during the production and installation phases, addressing any design-related issues that arise.* Quality Assurance:* Review and check all drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to specifications.* Ensure that all joinery elements are designed with a focus on durability, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.Qualifications:* Education: Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.* Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Joinery Draftsman, specifically within the fit-out industry.* Skills:* Proficient in AutoCAD, 3D modeling software, and other relevant design tools.* Strong understanding of materials, joinery techniques, and construction methods.* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.* Good communication and teamwork skills.Preferred Qualifications:* Experience in luxury residential or commercial fit-out projects.* Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials.* Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Job Type: Full-time
