Financial Controller

Job Description

• Ensuring that an organization meets the necessary tax, permit and licensing requirements.
• Collaborating with an executive team in establishing more effective processes and controls to ensure the integrity of a company’s ledger.
• Maintain financial & commercial propriety with respect to Plant operations while controlling costs to achieve Budget.
• Control over activities to insure proper allocation of costs and compliance with internal control rules. 
• Analyze and provide regular feedback on plant KPIs to all stakeholders, including Manufacturing cost variance analysis, Finance KPIs, Working capital changes, profitability analysis, and other requested reports.
• Preparation of Annual Budgets & forecasts in sync with laid down objectives for operations.  
• Summarizing budget trends, analyzing deficiencies and reporting variances to executives
• Providing external auditors with the necessary documentation and support
• Liaising with external tax accountants for tax preparation
• Analyze and provide regular feedback on plant KPIs to all stakeholders, including Manufacturing cost variance analysis, Finance KPIs, Working capital changes, profitability analysis, and other requested reports.
• Partner cost saving initiatives in the plants to derive cost benefits. 

Job Requirements

• Proven working experience as a Financial Controller
• 10+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
• Advanced degree in Accounting
• CPA or CMA preferred
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with creating financial statements
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
