We are seeking for our client a highly experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee their operations and procedures within the agriculture industry. You will be responsible for the efficiency of the business, which includes maintaining control of diverse business operations, so we expect you to be an experienced and efficient leader with excellent people skills, business acumen, and exemplary work ethics.Responsibilities and Duties:Design and implement business strategies, plans, and proceduresSet comprehensive goals for performance and growthEstablish policies that promote company culture and visionFoster a reputable image to external stakeholders and clientsOversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance, etc.)Increase in Agriculture yield per unitLead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedicationEvaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metricsReduction in operational costs while maintaining or improving efficiencyWrite and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importanceAssist CEO in fundraising venturesParticipate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances, etc.)Manage relationships with partners/vendorsQualifications:Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business developmentWorking knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metricsWorking knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS OfficeOutstanding organizational and leadership abilitiesExcellent interpersonal and public speaking skillsAptitude in decision-making and problem-solvingExperience:Previous experience successfully managing a complex enterprise's operations within the agriculture sector is essential.Master in economy, finance or agricultureProven experience 15+ years in a senior management role within the agriculture or investment industryProven experience in organizational development, personnel management, budget and resource development, and strategic planning.Regular office hours with frequent farm visits and inspections.Some travel may be required for business meetings, conferences, and industry-related events.
