Visual Merchandiser

Salary Dhs. 3,500 to 4,000 plus Employment Visa, Medical Insurance, and other benefits provided according to the UAE labor law.Roles & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the merchandising of the showroom floor, as directed by the Merchandising department and as per the needs of the Store Manager.Order all supplies for merchandising and promotions, including but not limited to shop fittings, display props, and pricing supplies.Responsible for organizing all store maintenance projects.Responsible for quality of all showroom displays.Maintain a clean and organized stockroom at all times. Ensure all sold accessories and furniture are identified and tagged.Assist in furniture inventory counts and annual accessory inventory.Assist in evaluating current products on the sales floor and assist in the offset of furniture displays.Educate store team to exercise creative flexibility that drives business results and maximizes sales.Drive sales volume by reacting to sales and home fashion trends.Work with sales staff to update and keep product information current.Seek feedback from colleagues and customers on the visual impact of displays and implement changes.Perform special assignments as given by the Head of the Department.Knowledge, Skills & Competencies RequiredPreferably, a college degree in fine arts or fashion designing.1-2 years of visual merchandising experience in the retail industry.Demonstrated ability to practice residential interior design including the ability to design and create dynamic furniture displays using colour, space planning, and accessories.Entrepreneurial attitude and approach with demonstrated strong design and merchandising skills, furniture knowledge, and strong organizational skills.Enjoy meeting and interacting with customers, and demonstrate an energetic and positive attitude.Remain current on design and colour trends to create fashionable design solutions.Demonstrated ability to train and guide Sales Staff and other support teams in terms of merchandising.Have a flair for design and colour.Be creative, imaginative, and energetic.Be able to concentrate and work to tight deadlines.
