Responsibilities: • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in accordance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders, including management, board of directors, investors, and regulatory agencies.• Establish and maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting processes, including segregation of duties, authorization controls, and periodic reviews.• Conduct risk assessments and internal control evaluations to identify control deficiencies, assess their impact, and develop remediation plans.• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and regulatory examiners, coordinating audit activities, providing requested documentation, and addressing audit findings and recommendations.• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules, financial disclosures, and other audit-related deliverables.• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making, business planning, and performance management.• Conduct variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial modelling to identify risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions.• The manager is authorized to assign the employee to any task within the departmentQualifications:• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.• Minimum of 7-9 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial control, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.Skills and Competencies: • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and internal control frameworks.• Experience in coordinating audits and regulatory examinations, with a strong understanding of audit procedures and requirements.• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
