The What

As an Accounts Assistant, you will have a diverse and varied role. Here are just some of the things you'll be getting involved with:
  • Deliver on all client sales invoicing with accuracy.
  • Manage key client and supplier accounts for receipt of payments.
  • Raise invoices to charge client credit cards and process transactions.
  • Key supplier reconciliations.
  • Produce periodic (daily, weekly, monthly) reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Liaise with operational TAG Agents on transactional process issues.
  • Monitor mailbox enquiries and provide query investigation and resolution for suppliers or clients.
  • Complete month-end routines with appropriate verification procedures.
  • Support year-end accounts processes and related audit preparation.
  • Adhere to PCI regulations to ensure compliance in accordance with Company policy.
  • Maintain historical records according to legislation and TAG procedures.
  • Continue to improve the payment process.
  • Document and advise on process improvements.
  • Assist with developing, preparing and testing system implementations.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

As an Accounts Assistant, there are several credentials and attributes which would be advantageous, but a determined attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.

Required

  • Recognised Accounting qualification or training
  • 3-5 Years in Accounting & Finance Department

Preferred

  • Accounting experience within the travel industry
  • Working knowledge of Travcom or other travel finance packages
  • Excel skills at intermediate level or higher
  • Proven record of working in a fast-paced environment
  • In lieu of education, equivalent combination of education, professional certifications (e.g., CMA, CPA) and directly related experience

The Where and When

This is a full-time role based in our Riyadh (KSA) office. You will report into the Finance Supervisor TAG KSA, who is based in Riyadh.
