Job Description We are looking for highly qualified, energetic, adaptable, and experienced people to teach "University Life Skills". Life Skills course is in "Arabic" language Job Responsibility Successful candidates will be mostly committed to teaching/training and supporting fresh students enrolled in the Prep Year Program. Based on the applicant's experience, he may be involved in curriculum development and participate in committees working towards the continuous improvement/enhancement of the Prep Year program. Also, he can pursue his research interests outside the working hours. Successful candidates are expected to undertake teaching/training of Prep Year students to acquire life skills, among which: Service Learning; Community Service; Problem Solving; Leadership and team building; Setting Goals; Time Management; Thinking Skills, Presentation Skills; and Scientific Writing. Compensation & Benefits • Two-year renewable contract. • Competitive tax-free salaries based on qualifications and experience. • Free furnished air-conditioned on-campus housing unit with free essential utilities and maintenance. • Air ticket/s to Dammam upon appointment; annual repatriation air ticket/s for up to four persons. • Contribution towards local tuition fees for school-age dependent children; local transportation allowance. • Two months' paid summer leave. • Free health care at KFUPM Clinic. • End-of-service gratuity after two (2) years of continuous service. • The KFUPM campus has a range of facilities including a medical and dental clinic, health club with swimming pool, an extensive library, computing, research and teaching laboratory facilities, a recreation center and a private beach Qualifications Holding formal relevant training certificates would be desirable. Teaching experience at a Western (USA, Canada, UK, Australia…) institution is preferred. The ability to assess and evaluate course outcomes and students' performance is a plus. 1. M.Sc. in Education, Management, Marketing, or an equivalent.2. Fluent in both, English and Arabic.3. Familiar with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications.4. Computer literacy including e-learning technologies.5. Two years of experience as a teacher/trainer in "University Life Skills".6. Strong personal communication and effective means of material presentation.7. Strong experience in Community Service and Service Learning.8.
