Role and Responsibilities:Key Responsibilities:Pre and post-contract duties including preparation of cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variation, final account, etc.Completing feasibility studies and writing procurement reportsEstimating and cost planning including producing and presenting the final cost planTendering and procurement activity, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, preliminaries, tender analysis, tender report and compiling the contractual documentsTaking responsibility for timely and accurate cost checks and valuationsProducing monthly post contract cost reports and presenting them to the clientInterfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stagesParticipate effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processesPerform cost-risk analysis and provide input into value engineering; negotiate and approve final accountsMaintain central feedback and learning on cost estimation from prospects and projects and contribute to updation of best practices in estimatingMust Haves:Experienced with or managing team that uses multiple estimating tools and applications.Strong experience with spreadsheets and databases.Collaborative approach, able to develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, internally and externally.Good organization skills with the ability to multitask.Demonstrated strong listening and communication skills.Proven cost and/or commercial management experience, ideally within a consultancy environment.Experience and Skills:Technical knowledge of interior fit out projects for a period of 10-12 years in Cost Management / Quantity Survey.Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering, Accounting, Finance or equivalent fieldPrior experience of handling interior fit out projects is required, and candidates with commercial project exposure could be prioritizedGood knowledge of all methods of construction and procurementNote:This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the responsibilities and requirements of the position.
