Mō te Tūranga | About the role General Manager - Fraud and Scams This is a key leadership role, where you will bring your forward-looking perspective to lead the Fraud function as an ASB Centre Of Excellence. You will define and drive execution of the Fraud and Scams strategy, influencing through and across large, multi-diverse teams actively monitoring trends and patterns both internally and externally. Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer, you will be a key member of the Enterprise Operations Leadership Team helping set overall strategy, priorities and people management focus. Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations and that our practices remain fit for purpose in an ever-changing environment. This role will see you engaging and influencing stakeholders across the business and externally to promote effective fraud and scam detection and prevention working with distribution units, Risk, Tribes, Digital, Data, Marketing and Technology to deliver against ASB's purpose. We are looking for an authentic leader who personifies the ASB values, oriented towards delivering sustainable value and an enterprise mindset. The following experience will enable your success in this role:

  1. Proven tenure and experience working in a large, complex organisation at a senior leadership level, ideally within Banking, Financial Services or Technology.
  2. Advanced knowledge of business and strategic planning, change or project management across the dimensions of risk, compliance, technology and operations.
  3. Influence and effective relationship building, driving enterprise change and challenging existing processes across all levels of stakeholders.
  4. Commercially astute, you will have senior level enterprise experience working at Executive level with a deep understanding of managing and preventing Fraud through high performing teams.
  5. You are familiar leading through an agile approach, both strategically and operationally.
