Description Important Information Location: Brazil Job Mode: CLT Work Mode: Work from home Job Summary As a Tech Lead FS engineer, you will be constantly challenged to bring new ideas, build new solutions, or adapt the existing ones to evolve. You must also provide technical and design leadership across high-impact projects that directly impact business goals, and set strategic technical directions for your engineering team. You'll be a partner with the designers and product managers to create an engaging and transparent customer experience. Good and clear communication, ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues, attention to detail, resilience, and adaptability. Responsibilities and Duties
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large scale software solutions;
- Influence and mentor a distributed set of engineers;
- Experience building scaled web-based applications with deep understanding of business goals;
- Exceptional technical design and technical communication skills;
- Able to mentor engineers to help them grow in their technical proficiency and leadership skills;
- Able to negotiate trade offs between product and engineering priorities to maximize the business value of engineering effort;
- Quality driven -- You are able to work fast and deliver fast, check your work and take pride in shipping quality;
- Innovative -- You take the initiative to find new ways to solve problems. You help the team understand your point of view and advocate for great solutions;
- Technical leadership – You are a critical multiplier in the engineering organization.
- Strong proficiency with one or more programming languages (Ruby, Python, JavaScript, Java, etc);
- Experience with React, and PostgreSQL;
- Experience with cloud providers, preferrable AWS;
- Solid experience with RESTful services and APIs;
- Strong foundations in UI development and product security and or DevOps is helpful;
- Expert -- You know a couple of languages cold and learning new technologies is standard fare.
