Office Management (Administration & Office Support) THE CLIENT: Our client is a standout construction company known for delivering high-quality residential projects that bring innovation and elegance to Melbourne's architectural landscape. They are dedicated to crafting exceptional homes and providing a collaborative, supportive environment for their team. THE ROLE: Our client is looking for a skilled and motivated Office Account Manager to join their dynamic team in inner Melbourne. This role is ideal for someone ready to drive and grow with a thriving construction business, supporting daily office operations while managing accounts and financial processes with precision. Working full-time in the office, you’ll be part of a small, close-knit team focused on achieving great results together. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting functions and maintain accurate financial records
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliation processes
  • Prepare financial reports and support budgeting processes
  • Collaborate with project teams to track costs and ensure alignment with budgets
  • Assist in streamlining office and project administration processes
  • Maintain strong communication with suppliers, contractors, and clients
  • Contribute to the development of systems that support business growth
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an accounts or office management role within the construction industry
  • Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in payroll, invoicing, and reconciliation
  • Proficiency in accounting software (MYOB, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility
