This role is hybrid and requires you to be in our downtown Toronto office (250 Yonge Street) / Client's office (789 Don Mills Rd, Toronto) 2-3 times per week - subject to change at any time. CGI is looking for technical consultants specialized in Sapiens® UnderwritingPro (formerly known as “Lifesuite”) for our leading Life Insurance client in Toronto, Canada. The consultant will be responsible for supporting projects that require configuring, customizing, underwriting rule engine and integrating the Sapiens® UnderwritingPro application to meet business needs. The candidate must have strong knowledge in new business and underwriting functions of Life Insurance domain and passionate about leveraging latest capabilities of the product and technology to thrive in an organization with desire for teamwork, client satisfaction, and changing things for the better. Your future duties and responsibilities • Analyze and evaluate business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Provide estimate for effort required to changes that impacts Sapiens® UnderwritingPro. • Support business analysts for prepare interface contract documents for integrating Sapiens® UnderwritingPro with other systems • Collaborate with Client and Vendor stakeholders to evaluate the system changes and enhancements. • Configure and customize the Sapiens® UnderwritingPro application to meet the business needs. • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Sapiens® UnderwritingPro. • Promote the changes to various environments using standard DevOps changes management process • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures. • Conduct system testing and validation to ensure optimal performance. • Provide knowledge transition to support team • Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in Sapiens® UnderwritingPro and related technologies. • Conduct regular meetings with offshore team to assignee Project task and track for the deliverables • Will be first point of contact for business for all UnderwritingPro production incidents and follow through Incident Management process. • Provide off-shift production support when needed Required qualifications to be successful in this role Skillsets Required: • At least 10 years of overall IT experience with minimum of 4 years experience in Sapiens® UnderwritingPro (formerly known as “Lifesuite”) product or equivalent New Business and Underwriting products of Life Insurance. • Proficiency in configuring and customizing Sapiens® UnderwritingPro or equivalent product to meet specific business requirements • Experience with integrating the platform with other systems, such as Data Entry, CRM, policy administration, and third-party API using ACORD XML as per insurance industry’s data standards. • Knowledge of SQL Stored Procedure, Functions and database management to handle data migration and ensure data integrity. • Experience in Microsoft .Net Programming with Java Script/ PowerShell/ batch script etc., to script custom development and automation tasks • Knowledge on ACORD global insurance industry’s data standards for Life and Annuity. • Must have strong knowledge of Insurance domain • LOMA certified members will be provided preference. #LI-MC1#INDCGIC Together, as owners, let’s turn meaningful insights into action.
