Job ResponsibilitiesCost Estimation: Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for substation projects, considering factors such as materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.Technical Analysis: Analyze project specifications, technical drawings, and other relevant documentation to understand project requirements thoroughly.Bid Preparation: Collaborate with the engineering team to develop detailed and competitive bids for substation projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with project execution and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and equipment required for substation projects.Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs, address inquiries, and provide technical assistance during the bidding process.Proposal Development: Prepare well-structured and compelling proposals, including technical specifications, project schedules, and cost breakdowns.Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies related to substation design and construction.Budget Management: Monitor project budgets throughout the estimation process, ensuring that proposed costs align with financial objectives and constraints.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of estimation data, project documentation, and correspondence with clients and vendors.
