Location: Regional Office The Netherlands, Netherlands PPHE Hotel Group is looking for a procurement professional who would love to work in a company where development is key. Then come and join us as a Procurement Manager, where you will play a crucial role in the procurement and supply chain management process, assisting the senior procurement team in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring a wide range of products and services. You'll be the key to managing supplier relationships to maximise value, reduce risk and seek innovative solutions. Additionally, the Procurement Manager will be involved in other aspects such as sustainability and ethical issues, ensuring quality control and compliance with the PPHE policies and procedures. Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies to meet the business requirements while ensuring cost optimisation, quality standards, and sustainability principles.Collaborate with various departments, including food and beverage, housekeeping, maintenance, and administration, to understand their procurement needs and specifications.Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, source products and services, and obtain competitive quotes. Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to secure the best value.Raise purchase orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.Assist in the process of measuring and evaluating supplier performance to reduce cost, increase process efficiency, and business performance.Establish and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and ensure adherence to contracted terms and conditions.Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payment to suppliers.Assist in the maintenance of the Procure to Pay system (Adaco) in accordance with the E-Procurement process.Stay updated on market trends, industry regulations, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for improvement in the procurement processContribute to the development of the procurement function by engaging via proactive leadership of projects and initiatives.
