Lab Technician Molecular Biology

RESPONSIBILITIESAs a Lab Technician you contribute to our growing portfolio of products by transferring experiments from small-scale to bench-scale fermentation. You will be involved in, among other things:Create and test strains designed for innovation of our process and product portfolio.Provide general lab support in the biotechnology lab (media preparation, cell bank preparation).Collect data, analyze results and report findings.In this role, you will be technically supervised by the CTO.QUALIFICATIONSYou thrive in a team environment where you will be collaborating with other colleagues. We are looking for a team player with strong interpersonal skills. You are self-motivated with a high degree of flexibility, and you are very communicative. Additionally, you take with you:A completed study in the direction of molecular biology.Knowledge of standard molecular biology techniques (DNA assembly and isolation, PCR) and basic microbiology techniques (sterile handling, cultivation of bacteria, media preparation).Practical experience in enzyme technologies and biochemistry is a plus.Experience with fermentation and analytical techniques such as GC-MS is a plus.Fluency in English.BENEFITSYou can count on challenging assignments with a lot of responsibility and an "on the job" training within a professional and motivated team.
