Location: Auckland, NZ, 0624 Onsite or Hybrid: Hybrid Babcock is looking for a Senior Logistics Engineering Technician to join the Engineering Support team based in Devonport, Auckland on a 12 month fixed-term contract. About the role The Senior Engineering Technician (Supportability) (Supply Support) is expected to conduct inventory development, obsolescence management, and analysis activities of items of supply in support of the development and delivery of cost-effective material solutions, whilst still developing your knowledge, skills, and experience. This position will be responsible for conducting supply support activities against the Maritime Fleet Sustainment Services Contract in line with local policy and industry best practice. About you With approximately 4 years of experience within an ILS and supply chain environment, and a high level of experience with acquisition or sustainment, you will form part of a developing team on the forefront of technology. A sound understanding of the applicable ILS and Engineering Toolsets (e.g., PLM or MRP systems, modelling, design, simulation, and analysis software) is required. You will hold a relevant technical vocational qualification and possess a high level of analytical and problem-solving skills; this position will see you part of an innovative and forward-thinking team.
