- Assisting in the analysis of asset condition and maintenance data, contributing to asset management decisions.
- Supporting the preparation of work scopes and designs for network reinforcement and asset replacement projects.
- Conducting load flow simulations and supporting network modelling.
- Contributing to network performance analysis and troubleshooting power quality issues.
- Helping to develop and maintain technical standards and specifications for distribution network design and maintenance.
- Managing and delivering small projects, using business project management processes.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in power systems or related fields. However, exceptional graduates with strong academic results and proven internship experience will also be considered.
- A solid theoretical understanding and interest in power distribution engineering, network planning, and asset management, gained through a tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering (ideally power systems or similar).
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude, with a keen desire to learn and contribute to projects.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively across multiple tasks and projects.
