Objective: responsible for the overall managementand leadership of the Trading Business operations team. This includesoverseeing the day-to-day operations, developing, and implementing newprocesses and procedures, and ensuring that the business operations comply withall applicable rules and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strongunderstanding of the financial markets, experience in a leadership role, andthe ability to effectively manage a team of professionals.What you'll do!Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Trading Business operations team: This includes ensuring that the operations are running smoothly and efficiently, as well as providing guidance and support to the operations team.Developing and implementing new processes and procedures: This involves identifying areas where the exchange's operations can be improved and then developing and implementing new processes and procedures to address those areas.Ensuring that the business operations comply with all applicable rules and regulations: This involves staying up to date on the latest rules and regulations, and then ensuring that the operations comply with those rules and regulations.Representing the operation to regulators and other stakeholders: This involves attending meetings with regulators and other stakeholders and representing the client's interests.Managing a team of professionals: This involves hiring, training, and motivating the operations team, as well as ensuring that the team is meeting its objectives.Developing and implementing training programs for the operations team: This involves identifying the training needs of the operations team and then developing and implementing training programs to address those needs.Staying up to date on market developments and changes to regulations: This is essential for ensuring that the business operations comply with the latest rules and regulations, as well as for identifying opportunities to improve the operations.What you should have!Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.10+ years of experience in investment management and stock exchange operations or a related role.Strong understanding of the financial markets.Experience in a leadership role.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
