Territory Sales Manager I Automotive Aftermarket COMPANY Bellcore is pleased to be working with one of Australia's leading manufacturers and suppliers of automotive equipment. In business for over 50 years, with manufacturing facilities located here in Australia, as well as overseas, they're recognized as a preferred supplier to automotive retailers such as Repco, Autobarn & Total Tools, as well as local automotive electricians (installers) and select distributors of auto-parts. Some of the product categories our client is particularly popular in include (but aren't limited to):

  • Vehicle communication solutions; radio, antennas and receivers
  • Automotive safety products; dash cams, monitors, sensors, alarms, security & lighting
  • Mobile entertainment; speakers, amps, antennas and rear seat entertainment
OPPORTUNITY Due to growth of the business, our client is seeking a Territory Sales Manager responsible for the continued growth and development for a defined geographical territory of reseller merchants, automotive electricians and distributors. The territory you will look after is the Newcastle, Hunter Region. The primary responsibility of the Account Manager is to manage a portfolio of approximately 120 accounts and drive the business's sales strategy to achieve KPIs and exceed sales goals. You'll be supported by a Sales Manager and a wider resource team and be given everything you need in order to kick some serious goals in this outbound sales position! BENEFITS

CANDIDATE In order to be considered for this role, we're open to candidates with the following backgrounds:
  • You have existing business-to-business (B2B) sales experience in the automotive sector; if you've sold to automotive merchant resellers, even better (not essential). Products you might have previously sold include passenger vehicles, buses, trucks, trailers, transport equipment, engine parts, vehicle body parts, tyres, oils, fluids, filtration, batteries, lighting, audio, auto-electrical, wiring, rims, wheels and connectors.
  • You have a prior trade background as an Automotive Electrician, Mechanic or Fitter, with previous hands-on experience installing, troubleshooting and maintaining some of the aforementioned equipment AND you have an interest in moving into sales.
  • You have experience working for a retailer in a store environment selling similar equipment to the general public and occasional trade customers. You must have an interest in moving into external sales and have a general understanding of some of the product categories listed above.
  • You have B2B sales experience in ANY industry and are a car enthusiast; you keep up to date with the latest technology and vehicle electronics; you may even install or maintain your own vehicle in your own time.
