We're recruiting 'Ports & Cargo Operations Manager' for one of our client based in Dubai, UAE.Job Description:In this role, we're looking for someone who is responsible for overall management of port/cargo operations and stowage planning/vessel/transshipment for M.E./Africa.Key Responsibilities:Supervising vessel and terminal operations.Ensure all cargo is handled in accordance with company standards.Ensure subcontractors operate according to our requirements.Focus on efficient processes and continuous operational improvement.Accountable to ensure budgetary requirements are met.Pay all invoices related to port calls. Coordinate with shippers, customers, surveyors, and port authority officials about the import and export of shipments.Coordinate all vessel load lists, manifests, hazardous paperwork, fumigation lists with the port authority, stevedores, vendors and freight forwarders.Coordinate cut off dates with freight forwarders, approve late gates, and resolve any fall downs in the supply chain structure of operations.Requirements:Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in relevant fieldExperience: 5-10 years of experience in related field
