JUNIOR MARKET RESEARCH ASSOCIATE About the company: Broadminded is a market research company that helps international clients understand consumer trends within Latin America, so they may adapt their strategy to achieve significant commercial results. We offer a range of quantitative and quantitative research services that includes comprehensive desk research; consumer opinion studies; focus groups; product testing, etc. The Rio de Janeiro team works in English and Portuguese, collaborating closely with our sister communications company (Sherlock Communications) in São Paulo. Job Description: We are looking for bilingual people with relevant research experience to join our research unit in Rio de Janeiro. If you are passionate about consumer research and have strong organisational skills, we would love to meet you. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-quality market research for content creation and brand positioning.
  • Collect, analyse and interpret relevant data to provide insights.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to align strategies and ensure effective communication of research insights.
  • Stay up to date with Latin American market trends and identify growth opportunities.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and discussions to share knowledge and contribute to the overall strategy.
  • Communicate market research results clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Manage research projects efficiently, ensuring adequate deadlines and budgets.
  • Develop market research reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Portuguese and English (fluent) , with solid written and oral communication skills;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in consumer market research;
  • Skill in data analysis and interpretation of results;
  • Familiarity with market research platforms and data analysis tools.
Differentiators:
  • Fluency in Spanish is desirable, but not essential;
  • Public relations or journalistic experience considered a plus;
  • Post-graduate degree in social science or related field considered a plus;
  • Experience working in Latin American markets, including knowledge of relevant trends and dynamics.
