We are innovators, committed to redesigning and improving public services to fulfil our purpose to impact a better future by "Bringing National Visions to Life".Your OpportunityWe are currently bidding for a prestigious new project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and we are looking for a Senior HSE Inspector who will support the HSE Inspections Manager with advising and inspection activities to ensure best HSE practices are being implemented to the client's portfolio of projects.The purpose of the project under this contract is to provide consulting and management support to a Ministry in KSA with the necessary tools to manage and maintain assets and facilities, through improving activities to meet service requirements, developing business strategies that ensure reducing costs of the life cycle of assets, and improving practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness.Key AccountabilitiesLead & conduct the day-to-day inspection activities at the project sites.Prepare inspection reports.Issue NCRs, observations, and proactive notifications based on the results of surveillance inspection visits.Review site test reports.Enforce implementation of the HSE plan, Procedures, and Technical work instructions.Drive improvement based on lessons learned and best practices.Inspect the implementation of the processes and procedures at project sites.Ensure compliance with HSE standards, policies, and guidelines in Projects.Educate the O&M contractors on the technical compliance to the HSE requirements.Proactively engage in HSE activities to assist in resolving and overcoming technical HSE issues.Plan regular site surveillance visits and walkthroughs to maintain intensity of site compliance to HSE requirements.Lead in the examination and inspection of facilities.Monitor/calibrate inspection and testing equipment.Conduct field visits to sites and facilities on a regular, scheduled basis.Carry out periodic inspections and scheduled reviews of the work packages of outsourcing consultants and operation and maintenance contractors, issue health, safety, security and environment improvement notices or work suspension notices - where necessary - and conduct independent investigations regarding incidents.Specific RequirementsMinimum 8-10 years of experience in inspection.Able to apply HSE tools and techniques.Possess good presentation skills and be able to market the benefits of HSE to all stakeholders.Practical experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.Experience in quality services and studies.Public sector experience.Experience in health, safety, and environment.Degree qualified in an engineering subject.Good knowledge and practice of ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Standard as well as ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.Inspection certification as applicable (e.g., NDT, API, AWS, CSWIP, Coating).What's in it for you?Competitive monthly pay and allowances that are commensurate with the role and industry standards.Comprehensive medical insurance coverage and life insurance.Competitive leave benefits that exceed industry standards.Annual airfare allowance.Supportive work environment fostering a positive Safety-First culture.Access to wellbeing programs and platforms.Vast array of career paths within a global organization.Join UsAt Serco, we believe there is a place here for everyone.
