Sydney: Company Secretary / Lawyer

Who are we looking for? We're working on an interesting assignment opportunity with a global IT company for an experienced Company Secretary/Lawyer to join us and kick-start their LOD career with this assignment. As an experienced lawyer, this assignment will see you managing the full range of company secretarial responsibilities, including preparing Annual Reports, preparing board packs and coordinating committee members, managing risk, ethics, ensuring compliance with US and AU laws, and advising on corporate governance. To join us, you will:

• Have at least 8 years PQE ideally gained from top or mid-tier law firms or in-house (with strong legal training)
• Be experienced in corporate governance
• Be client centric - commercially minded, adaptable and able to hit the ground running
• Enjoy partnering with businesses and managing stakeholder relationships
