Compensation is based on experience! This position requires 1 to 2 years of either Dental or Medical billing and coding experience. Responsible for assisting in the day-to-day activities of the insurance department. You will work alongside the Office Manager/Insurance Specialist to create an efficient insurance team in a busy Oral Surgery Practice. Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Determination of insurance benefits
- Preparation of insurance claims
- Prepare and present financial treatment plan options to patients
- Explain office policy to patients efficiently and kindly
- Report to and work directly with the office manager to maintain timely claim filing
- Follow up with insurance claims sent and assist in the resolution of problems with those claims
- Dental Coding: 2 years (Required)
