Role Overview The proposed role requires a candidate with relevant experience in Cloud Strategic Planning, Cloud Design, Cloud adoption & migration, IT Infrastructure (Servers, Storage etc.), Data Center, Disaster recovery, Project Planning and Management, Change Management. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the Cloud domain. Within this role, the incumbent will understand the client’s current business and Technology capabilities, assess current technology environment, operating structure including sourcing and delivery ecosystem, and conduct end-to-end value chain diagnostics to unlock levers that can produce sustained business improvement. The candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, who enjoys the challenge of working with other team members and a diverse set of stakeholders. Recent experience and understanding of the ME business ecosystem and government initiatives is preferred. The candidate will be required to showcase excellent communication skills and should have demonstrated consistently the skill and capability in delivering impactful and insightful projects in the past. He/she will also be required to participate in client meetings and, during the course of a project, will be responsive to client enquiries, eventually leading the delivery engagement. They will also be expected to contribute to Practice or Firm development. This may be adjudged in various ways such as serving as a mentor to other team members, by leading training/development initiatives, contributing to thought leadership papers, assisting other network firms etc. Positions are with the Technology Consulting team, which works with the Private Organizations, Governments, Donor agencies, International Development Agencies, etc. The position is based out of Riyadh, KSA. However, the ideal candidate should not have any constraints to travel for work-related opportunities, whether domestic or internationally. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Understand client’s current business capabilities, assess current Technology environment, Cloud Services, current challenges, future needs, conduct end-to-end assessment of current IT Infrastructure and Cloud tech stack to identify the gaps and possible IT interventions that can be planned for sustained performance improvement.
- Understand current IT Infrastructure, Data center and network infrastructure architecture.
- Undertake Cloud maturity assessment to evaluate applications, hardware, and software to identify future opportunities and plan for the future.
- Collect and compile qualitative and quantitative research from internal and external sources to gain insights into customers and stakeholders’ expectations, preferences, and behaviors.
- Define short term, medium term and long-term objectives/goals for the client organization along with key metrics to evaluate the improvement.
- Create a cloud adoption strategy, Operating model and migration roadmap.
- Develop solution design and architecture for Hybrid, Private and Public cloud environments.
- Work closely with the security team to align security requirements in the proposed solution.
- Respond to technical queries/issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Assess, plan and design infrastructure movement/migration requirements to/from Cloud.
- Facilitate collaborative and interactive multi-stakeholder workshops to identify gaps and support in building consensus.
- Collect business, customer, technology and regulatory trends/issues, and develop insights for the client.
- Identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)/Performance Measurement Parameters for Cloud Services and solutions.
- Work with various PwC x-LoS teams to develop requested market/technology perspectives.
- In reference to Program Management Initiatives, carry out project management, activity and schedule management, issue tracking and resolution, status reporting and monitoring, service Level Agreement (SLA) monitoring.
- Share lessons learned and best practices across programs, building relationships with stakeholders and brokering relationships at all levels.
- Coordination of project Governance arrangements, Post Project Reviews, Programme level workshops.
- Support Business Development activities including proposal developments, client presentations.
- Graduation: BE/B. Tech/MCA or equivalent.
- Post-Graduation: MBA/PGDM (Desirable).
- Cloud Architect Certification from AWS/Azure/Google.
- IT Infrastructure certification from leading OEMs.
- TOGAF (Desirable).
- ITIL (Desirable).
- Minimum 7 Years of relevant experience.
- Experience working at a Big 4 or Management Consulting firm.
- Extensive Experience of solution design in Cloud computing technologies, platforms, IT infrastructure components.
- Previous consulting experience in the Cloud and IT Infrastructure domain.
- Experience in delivering large scale projects and experience in working with client technology teams.
- Deep understanding of Cloud & IT Infrastructure architecture, solutions design.
- Good understanding of various Cloud platforms and services.
- Good understanding of the IT Infrastructure OEM products and offerings.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Strong communications skills, both written and verbal. Communicating passion, energy, intensity, and excitement in a direct, apolitical way.
- Ability to handle complex assignments independently.
- Ability to work with ambiguity. Taking a systematic, structured view of situations.
- Team player – Work in a large team with people from diverse backgrounds.
