Have extensive experience of leading a school through inspection, achieving significant impact during the process.
Be very active and have a strong presence throughout the school by demonstrating, modeling teaching & learning expectations and must be able to hold teachers accountable.
Be rigorous in promoting excellence and developing commitment to high standards of care and opportunities for all.
Be able to demonstrate successful experience of leading and managing staff including promoting and developing innovative approaches to learning.
Be able to demonstrate a comprehensive and confident knowledge of student achievement, curriculum and assessment from Kindergarten.
Be able to demonstrate genuine passion towards play-based learning and Reggio Emilia inspired educational approaches.
Be confident in team and resource management, strategic planning and decision-making.
Have a creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom.
Be an excellent team player both within the department and across phases.
Have at least 3 years of relevant leadership experience.

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced, innovative Early Years leader to join Bright Learners Private School in the position of Head of Kindergarten. The successful candidate will play a major role on the Senior Leadership Team supporting the Principal in driving forward Early Years Education at Bright Learners Private School.
We are looking for an inspiring leader with strong leadership skills, instructional expertise, high-energy and commitment. The candidate will recognize the potential of our students, have a visible learning approach, and have the appropriate temperament to work with a young, vibrant learning community.
The ideal Head of Kindergarten will be passionate about early years education, play-based learning and have a strong ability to develop bonds of mutual trust with young learners, families and stakeholders. The ideal candidate must have approved qualifications and education, have extensive experience in a similar leadership role, and experience with the KHDA inspection process.
The post holder will be responsible for supporting the school's Vision and Mission, Bright Learners' Core Values, policies and practices.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Masters in Kindergarten or Early Education
Certification and Teaching license
5 years of certified teaching experience with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role
Experience in the UAE (Preferred)
Experience with KHDA inspection

Community Engagement: Ability to build relationships with families and the community, fostering partnerships that enhance children's learning experiences.
Assessment and Evaluation: Skills in assessing children's progress and implementing strategies to support diverse learning needs.
Conflict Resolution: Ability to handle conflicts effectively among staff, parents, or children, promoting a harmonious environment.
Advocacy for Early Childhood Education: Passion for promoting the importance of early childhood education and advocating for best practices in the field.
