Structural Specialist ( Bridges) - Asset Maintenance

Job Description:Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Structural Specialist (Bridges) to join our team! In this role you will get to perform a wide variety of difficult engineering assignments, applying engineering techniques and analyses within one discipline.What You'll Be Doing:Performs complex engineering/ asset maintenance tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately.Develop structural designs for bridges, tunnels, roads, and other infrastructure projects.Perform structural analysis using appropriate software and methodologies.Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.Manage Site supervision team.Prepare detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and budget constraints.Reviews supplier drawing submittals and performs technical bid analyses.May be required to provide the seal and signature of the professional engineer, as appropriate, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and ordinances.May act in an advisory capacity to senior management personnel on engineering related matters.Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.What Required Skills You'll Bring:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) from an accredited institution.15+ years of work experience in design and construction supervision of bridges and underpasses is required.Proficiency in asset maintenance of bridges and underpasses.Utilizing PC software packages typically associated with engineering and Bridge designing is required; (Eg: CAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, MicroStation, Navisworks Manage, Bentley Open Bridge, Bentley Open Roads).Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic is a must.With RTA approval is an advantage.What Desired Skills You'll Bring:Experience working with Engineering consultancy in Dubai/ UAE is preferred.Having UAE Authority/ Client approvals are preferred.Minimum Clearance Required to Start:Not Applicable/NoneParsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
