The Business Development Manager plays a crucial role in driving growth and expanding the market presence of our trading and commodity trading company in Kuwait. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in business development and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and enhancing the company's competitive position in the market. Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the trading and commodity sectors.
  2. Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
  4. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  5. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients and partners.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on business objectives and strategies.
  7. Monitor industry developments and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
  8. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable business deals.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  2. Proven ability to develop and execute successful business strategies.
  3. Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  6. Experience in the trading or commodity trading industry is a plus.
  7. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

  3. Proficiency in negotiation and contract management.
  4. Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  5. Knowledge of trading and commodity markets.
