At Noorka Logistics, we are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. This role is crucial to maintaining the financial health of our operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting the finance department in day-to-day activities.Key Responsibilities:Assist in maintaining financial records, including invoices, receipts, payments, and transactions.Support in the preparation of financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and expense reports.Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.Assist with payroll preparation by providing relevant financial data and ensuring accurate payments.Help in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with local financial regulations.Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry and document management.Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.Collaborate with internal departments to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies.Ensure that all financial procedures are followed according to company policies and legal standards.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Previous experience as an accounting assistant or in a similar role.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.Good organizational and time management skills.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work well in a team environment and handle confidential information.Join our dynamic team at Noorka Logistics and contribute to our success by ensuring smooth financial operations.
