Senior Captain (Food and Beverage) Shang Palace, Shangri-La Qaryat al Beri, Abu Dhabi We have a great opportunity for a Senior Captain to join our award-winning Shang Palace. The successful applicant will play an important role in assisting the Service Manager to deliver consistent and quality service to our guests. The Senior Captain will look to inspire colleagues every day to ensure that the quality of service for which Shangri-La is known and loved is upheld. What we are looking for? A passion for great food, drink and delivering the Shangri-La experience. Ability to lead and inspire others. Efficiency and punctuality. A warm and friendly character. Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in luxury hospitality/customer service. Lives and breathes the Shangri-La Values. What will you do? Interact with clients and understand their needs. Guide the guest through a-la carte options. Fulfill guest orders in an effective and organised manner. Work with colleagues to keep excellent service standards. Effectively communicate the requests of the guest with both culinary and service Associates. Empathetically listen to client queries/complaints and work with colleagues/service Manager to find solutions.
