This role will be responsible for leading a team of Merchandisers. Communicates company goals and deadlines to the team. Motivates team members, assesses performance, and provides help to his/her Superior by keeping up to date on team performance. Communicates concerns and policies to the Merchandiser Manager and team members.ResponsibilitiesAct as a reliever for the Merchandising Manager to support the team and perform management duties.

Execute and manage inventories and stock, including keeping detailed records of inventory use and sales, and advising the supervisor on necessary concerns, such as ordering.

Encourage team members while communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks.

Answer team member questions, help with team member problems, and oversee team member work for quality and guideline compliance.

Communicate deadlines and sales goals to team members; conduct team meetings if necessary to update members on best practices and expectations.

Provide quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering inquiries, and effectively handling complaints.

Assess outlets to develop/fabricate design for proper shelving/measurements as per principal standards.

Work on display executions and routes where the load is high; be in the market daily with any one merchandiser.

Ensure proper coordination and alignment with the Merchandising Manager.

Responsible for on-the-job training, including expiry tracking, display based on planogram, shelving, FIFO (date code), time management, and product life cycle.

Initiate staff disciplinary management and align next line management.

Monitor individual performance.

Ensure that merchandisers' basic work-related issues are addressed properly per business guidelines and policies.

Ensure that KPIs are cascaded to all Merchandisers and track progress.

Participate in creating an innovation culture based on trade/competition activities in the market.

Ensure route coverage as per journey plan; escalate any deviations affecting operational guidelines to the next line management.

Work closely with customers mainly on assigned key accounts while managing assigned staff to negotiate space for shelf/display, product quantity/volume, specific POS materials, and frequency/type of support.SkillsDiploma or Bachelor's Degree.

Valid GCC driver's license.

3-5 years of work experience in the FMCG business.

Exposure in a similar industry is highly preferred.

Proven track record in leading a team in a similar field.

Ability to work with minimum supervision.

Team player.

Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld devices for reporting.#J-18808-Ljbffr
