About the Role

Conduct continuous improvement initiatives by following lean methodologies such as DMAIC (define, measure, analyze, improve and control). Set up a forum with internal stakeholders to receive process improvement ideas, exchange initiative updates, and update higher management.

Responsibilities

Support line manager with leading process improvement initiatives that reduce cost, improve productivity and/or generate extra revenue for QAS Cargo. Identify process improvement opportunities and provide tangible recommendations to higher management based on lean methodologies such as DMAIC.

Compile management briefings that transmit crucial information in a compact and visually appealing manner. Set up a forum of constant exchange between the Process Excellence team and business process champions with the goal to be constantly updated on initiatives and to provide updates to higher management.

Facilitate the staff feedback program to effectively receive and process staff's process improvement ideas and loop back constructive feedback.

Support with change management and process adoption to ensure correct adoption of processes and new ways of working.

Support with facilitating training and familiarization sessions for internal and external stakeholders to ensure correct adoption of processes and new ways of working.

Advise and guide business units to adopt enhanced working approaches to achieve optimum service levels and KPIs.

Be an ambassador of change management and process improvement.

Perform other department duties related to this position as directed by the Head of the Department.

QualificationsAbout you

Essential

High School diploma with minimum 4 years job-related experience.

Bachelor's degree with minimum 3 years job-related experience.

Work experience in the field of logistics and supply chain management.

Experience with process design and root cause analysis.

Experience with Project Management.

Familiarity with business analysis techniques and tools e.g. SIPOC/Swimlane.

Microsoft Office suite of applications at an advanced level.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight timescales and budgets.

Command of the English language and good interpersonal skills. Solution-oriented with effective communication skills.

Innovative and creative out-of-the-box thinking solutions.

Good analytical and decision-making skills.

Good time and priority management.

Follows safety practices and procedures.

Able to multi-task as required.

Preferred

Proven leadership ability.

Excellent presentation skills.

Proficiency in MS Office tools.
