Roles and ResponsibilitiesWe are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Manufacturing Unit Assistant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing unit by supporting various functions and processes.ResponsibilitiesAssist with the coordination and scheduling of production activities to meet daily targets and deadlines.Monitor inventory levels and liaise with relevant teams to ensure timely replenishment of materials and supplies.Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure compliance with established standards.Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced, rejects, and downtime.Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and increase productivity.Coordinate with other departments to facilitate the smooth flow of materials and information within the manufacturing unit.Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of quality control principles and techniques is a plus.Desired Candidate ProfileAttention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in production processes and quality control to meet specifications.Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing process.Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues on the production floor and suggest practical solutions.Physical Stamina: Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, standing for long periods, and operating machinery.Teamwork: Collaborating effectively with other team members to achieve production goals and maintain workflow.Time Management: Efficiently managing tasks to meet production deadlines and schedules.Communication Skills: Clear communication with supervisors and colleagues regarding production status and issues.Safety Awareness: Understanding and adhering to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing production needs and tasks as required.Basic Math Skills: Proficiency in basic arithmetic for measuring and counting materials accurately.
