We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Solicitor to join our talented Wills, Trusts and Probate team. We are a progressive law firm, seeking an individual who is used to dealing with high quality work and wants to join a forward-thinking and ambitious firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a diverse caseload of wills, probate, and estate administration matters.

Provide expert legal advice to clients on all aspects of wills, trusts, and estate planning.

Draft and review legal documents, including wills, powers of attorney, and trust deeds.

Liaise with clients, beneficiaries, and third parties to ensure smooth administration of estates.

Stay updated with changes in relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance and best practice.

Support business development activities to build and grow the Wills, Trusts and Probate offering in Welwyn Garden City.

Requirements:

NOTE: Please only apply if you meet the requirements. The role will not suit those without the stated prior experience in a law firm, private client department.

Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in Wills and Probate.

Strong knowledge of the Inheritance Tax Act 1984 and the Non-contentious Probate Rules 1987.

Excellent working knowledge of Lexcel, anti-money laundering regulations, the SRA's Code of Conduct for Solicitors and other applicable regulatory/compliance requirements.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.

Proven ability to manage a busy caseload efficiently and effectively.

High level of attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
