With unparalleled experience, gained from working on hundreds of projects, our multi-disciplinary team of Architects, Planners, Engineers, Scientists, Modelers and Project Managers work alongside our clients to deliver effective solutions that stand the test of time.Job DescriptionDue to the continuing success and growth of our Middle East team, this fantastic opportunity has opened up at our award-winning specialist consultancy, engineering and advisory firm.At AESG we are looking for a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to join our Fire & Life Safety team and work alongside our other specialist disciplines based in our Riyadh office.This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated Senior Fire Protection Engineer seeking a leading role within a growing and ambitious company with a unique service offering.Key Responsibilities:Lead tasks on projects and shall report to managers and directorsLead the successful delivery of projects to a high standardMaintain high quality of all deliverables with efficient time deliveryAct as main point of contact for efficient project deliveryFire protection systems (firefighting, fire alarm, smoke control, emergency lighting, LPG) drawings preparation and review for authority submission and approvalFire protection reports writing as well as QAQC other reports acting as deliverable approverProduce accurate and timely submittals to agreed deadlinesPrepare and issuance of final FLS Strategy reports and studies when assigned by managers and directorsLead the continuous development of FP design deliverables and FP team membersManage project resourcing as well as FP team members with lower gradesAct as PM and PD for FLS and multidisciplinary projects as per AESG project management standardsMeet the timeline set for the generation of all fire and life safety designs, reports and related submission tasks such as client meetings and workshopsKeep traceability and version control for all generated design and technical submittalsContribute to the successful delivery of projectsActively pursue continued professional development through the completion of training modulesEngaging in the implementation and maintenance of the IMS and its processes and in achieving expected outputsConducting all FLS activities in a quality, healthy and safe manner and reporting any observed problems/risks to the concerned head or personnelThe ideal candidate fits the below profile:Motivated and Self-driven (Entrepreneurial Outlook)Committed to Technical ExcellenceGood relationship builders (internal and external)Must have/be:A BSc (BEng) or MSc (MEng) in Fire Safety/Protection or Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalentA minimum of 5 years experience practicing fire protection engineering / consultancyIFE MemberCFPS and PMP CertificationSound technical knowledge in Fire Safety/Engineering within Residential, Commercial and Hotels sectorsAESG is a multidisciplinary specialist consultancy, offering a consultancy service and work environment like no other.Through our world-class reputation for innovative thinking, pushing projects to outperform expectations through smart application of planning, engineering and architectural solutions, our project portfolio includes some of the world's most forward-thinking and exciting new developments.The success of our company is built on the success of individuals.
