Job SummaryCommercial Bank is Qatar's first and largest private sector bank. We play an important role in driving innovation across the Middle East; as a result, have set up Commercial Bank Innovation Services (CBIS) to create exciting banking products and services of the future.The team will have relevant experience of above 12 years and work in the analysis, development, configuration, implementation and support of business applications in both Microsoft .Net & Java technologies by effectively mapping the business requirements to out of box product functionalities, taking up supported customizations where applicable, testing and ensuring timely delivery of services.Key AccountabilitiesWork independently and with the team to understand project requirements, existing implementations and build or maintain the technical aspects of .Net / Java applications including but not restricted to analysis, design, estimation, optimization and development of business requirements.Understanding the coding structure, application blocks and adapt to standards followed.Perform initial design reviews and recommend improvements.Write clear codes and prepare coding documentation.Other AccountabilitiesAssist in timely L2/L3 troubleshooting of .Net / Java Applications.Experience working in a structured waterfall / agile development process.Participate in the set-up and deployments in all environments including production.Conduct code reviews, testing and work closely with QA team (where applicable) for SIT and with business for UAT.Contribute to the overall enterprise application architecture and infrastructure architecture.RequirementsDevelopment in Enterprise Service Bus and SOA technologies in Java, ESB, .net web APIs, Java Spring boot, Kafka, and Active MQ.Development in Spring framework and Spring JDBC.Development in Java / J2EE technologies like Core Java, Web Services, JSP, Servlet, HTML, CSS, XSL, JavaScript, EJB, JMS and JMX.Strong knowledge in middleware technologies.Strong technical knowledge on Integration design patterns.Hands on experience in Enterprise Application Integration architecture and application gateways.Excellent troubleshooting skills on Integrated applications.Understanding of databases (SQL, ORACLE, DB2) and tools to develop stored procedures.Strong knowledge in all .Net framework and latest MVC frameworks.Strong programming knowledge in Java / VB .net / C#/.Net 3.5 or above/ASP.net 3.5 or above.Strong collaboration and investigative skills and the ability to cross reference information for accuracy.Strong verbal and written skills, especially around code documentation.Ability to work in a team environment, independently, take direction, and follow instructions.Ability to work under pressure, multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities.Ability to manage the team members and coordinate with business unit across all domains in the bank.Banking knowledge preferred.SkillsAbility to interact with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to work under pressure.Accuracy and attention to detail.EducationMaster's degree in Information Technology.
