Minimum RequirementsMinimum 5-6 years of experience in switchgearsKahramaa approvedBachelor of Technology/Engineering (Electrical, Electronics/Telecommunication)ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop switchgear systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications for safety and performance.Conduct detailed analysis and simulations to optimize switchgear designs for efficiency and reliability under various load conditions.Oversee installation and commissioning of switchgear equipment, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality benchmarks.Perform routine inspections and maintenance on switchgear systems, identifying potential issues and implementing timely solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate switchgear solutions into larger electrical systems, enhancing overall functionality.Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and operation manuals for future reference.Provide technical support and training to clients and field personnel on switchgear operation and maintenance best practices.Stay updated on industry advancements and emerging technologies in switchgear systems to enhance performance and innovation.Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential hazards associated with switchgear operations.Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to source high-quality materials and components for switchgear production.Conduct detailed electrical load calculations to determine the appropriate switchgear ratings for various applications.Perform routine testing and maintenance on switchgear to guarantee reliability and performance, identifying issues before they escalate.Develop and maintain technical documentation, including operation manuals, installation guides, and maintenance schedules.
